I’m diving into the world of Fenty Beauty’s Fenty Skin Hydra Vizor Huez Tinted Moisturiser, and I’ve got some thoughts to share with you. This refillable tinted moisturiser offers a blend of hydration, mineral SPF 30 protection, and skin-perfecting benefits. Designed to be a lightweight formula with 10 flexible shades, providing a natural, glowy finish. Considering its claims to improve pore appearance, lighten dark spots, smooth fine lines and wrinkles, and enhance brightness, hydration, and elasticity, it's easy to see why I was eager to try this product. Let’s Talk About The Refillable Packaging
First things first, let’s talk packaging. I have to admit, I was a tad disappointed to find out that the case and the product itself are sold separately. I feel like the initial purchase should include everything you need to get started. It’s just a small thing, but worth mentioning. On the bright side, the fact that it’s refillable is a huge plus in my book – sustainability for the win!
First Impressions
Now, onto the product itself, I’m shade two, and let me tell you, it feels absolutely lovely on the skin. The texture is smooth and hydrating, and while I haven’t delved into the skincare ingredients just yet, I can feel its moisturising benefits. For me, that’s a big plus because I want my skin to look and feel good throughout the day.
What coverage can you expect from Fenty Skin Hydra Vizor Huez Tinted Moisturiser
Coverage-wise, this is where the Hydra Vizor Huez Tinted Moisturiser really shines. It’s not heavy at all – exactly what I look for in a tinted moisturiser. I prefer something that gives me a bit of confidence without masking my natural complexion. If I ever need more coverage, I will just add some concealer for everyday wear, this is perfect. Wearing this is your skin on a good day, allowing your skin to glow with a gorgeous natural finish.
Speaking of coverage, I will just add I don’t find it to be very buildable due to its hydrating nature, but honestly, that’s not a downside for me. I appreciate that it stays true to its promise of being light and natural.
How Many Shades Are There?
In terms of shades, there are 10 flexible shades, which is more than I can say for most tinted moisturisers on the market. I have tried shades one, two, and three, and settled on two. It’s a great match for my skin tone, and I think they are definitely flexible in the shades.
How Much Sun Protection Would This Give Me?
Fenty Skin Hydra Vizor Huez Tinted Moisturiser uses mineral sun filters to give a SPF30 level of protection. Given how much you will apply (I found one pump is more than enough) I suggest you use this as your secondary SPF and don’t rely on this as your main sun protection product. Let’s Talk About The Claims
Fenty Skin Hydra Vizor Huez Tinted Moisturiser claims this will improve the look of pores, dark spots, fine lines and wrinkles, hydrate and brighten the skin. The formula includes melon and baobab extracts these ingredients are known to deliver hydration, thanks to being rich in vitamins and minerals in fact the baobab tree is known as the tee of life and its ability to retain water. The claim around improving the look of pores and dark spots is coming from the use of niacinamide which is a super vitamin known to help limit the transfer of pigmentation and reduce the appearance of pores. I personally feel these claims are a little bit misleading and I wouldn’t want you to be buying this thinking you would achieve these kinds of results just from the Hydra Vizor Huez Tinted Moisturiser. Will the skin look smoother brighter and hydrated absolutely.
In conclusion, I’m really enjoying this skin product. It ticks all the boxes for what I look for in a tinted moisturiser – lightweight, hydrating, and just the right amount of coverage. If you’re into that natural, radiant look that enhances your skin without covering it up, this will be your go-to for the summer.
